Keith Briggs: History, Geography, Economics, Politics & Law
 

Awarded the ACEL’s Western Australian Teacher-Leader Excellence Award in 2018, Keith has a track record of excellence in teaching History, Economics, Politics & Law and Geography. His coaching-style approach to learning has enabled students to develop an inquiry-based approach, forming the important skills for achieving the top marks in ATAR, and preparing them well for the rigours of further education. His expert level of understanding of the course content and assessment requirements is supported by master's level understanding of his subject, as evidenced by his attainment of Master of History in 2020. University-level History is also within Keith's sphere of excellence.

Ged McCann: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Sports Science, Integrated Science
 

With over 25 years of teaching in four different schools, two as the Head of Department, Ged has expert knowledge and understanding of the ATAR syllabus and assessment requirements. An experienced examination writer, revision seminar lecturer, and teacher trainer, Ged is able to develop students that focus on clarity and brevity, key skills required to attain the top level in examinations. Trained as a Cognitive Development instructor by Kings College, London, Ged worked alongside UWA School of Education to develop the Thinking Science Australia programme. His students consistently achieve top marks in the ATAR courses, primarily in Chemistry. Ged is also able to teach university level Chemistry and supports university students with their chemistry electives for medicine, physiology, veterinary science, and agriculture at UWA, Curtin and Murdoch.
