Writer's picture: Gerard McCannGerard McCann

Teacher attrition rates around the world vary according to how it is measured (Wheldon, 2021). That said, rates of up to 40-50% within the first five years of entering the profession reported in the Australian TES are attributed to poor levels of well-being. By addressing the well-being of teachers, key benefits are felt across the whole organisation, particularly with improvements in student well-being and performance.
